We go out of our way to remove unnecessary barriers for our employees seeking opportunities through training and development, promotion and career planning. Everyone in the agency has regular face-to-face time with the leadership team to enable regular discussions about dreams and aspirations.
Unique mentorship scheme
We’ve done away with the bog-standard annual appraisal process which just acts as a checkpoint for managers. We’ve tested and tried many different types of appraisal/review processes since our merge in 2018, but none of them were driving real change. Until we built our Mentorship Scheme.
The mentorship scheme at Digivate is one of our proudest achievements to date.
In the scheme:
- We don’t impose coaches or mentors on anyone, the choice belongs to each individual
- We don’t create goals for anyone, they are built by each individual
- There is no limit to what our team is allowed to strive for, no matter how tangential it is to their day-to-day work
- We put each team members needs first, followed by the needs of our clients, our agency and the world around us
